The Last of Us looks like the hit game made real.

HBO FINALLY dropped our first REAL look at their tv adaptation of The Last of Us, one of the most emotionally charged games to come out of the last decade. The show's production was led by Neil Druckmann, the Co-President of the game's studio Naughty Dog, and it shows. Each shot in the trailer looks like a Playstation remaster from the future. It's amazing how video-game stories are now being legitimized in film and TV as of late. I look forward to being able to point people to the original but still only time will tell if my knowledge of the game's story will turn me into a prophetic sage or just a fan who understands the setting as we don't know how closely the show will stick to the plot. At least one thing is the same... Clickers are fucking terrifying.
